"Sorrow is knowledge, those that know the most must mourn the deepest, the tree of knowledge is not the tree of life"

Happy New Year

Have a stunning 2009.
May all your dreams come true...
I celebrated with pink bubbly.
And look why I had to have this bottle:
Lavinya was intrigued by all the fireworks
And in daytime Attila was watching over Chakka

Frozen Flowers

So how weird is this?
This plant decided to bloom again in winter...
I didn't tend to it at all
While the bird pool's water is completely frozen
And the ditch is frozen over as well, no wonder at -5 Celsius/23 Fahrenheit

In Limbo

On our way to Limburg Lavinya was sleeping comfortably on my lap
Meet Nooka, yet another out of focus dog
Lavinya and American Indian Dog Nooka really liked each other

Piggies Mambo & Kuuske
Lunchtime?
Mambo is on the look out for hungry wolves
But Lavinya also spotted the few chicken at the back while Ziggy tries to contact her
This Sunday Miriam, her daughter Angela, Lavinya & I went to Limburg to visit Kim & Peter and all of their lovely animals
Kim & Nooka
Nooka is cooling of in the pond after all this playtime
Miriam, Ziggy and Jones, who is retiring at Kim & Peters
Angela, Jones and the hungry wolves
Saffie
Watje & Nooka
Watje is laughing his head off

Ziggy, one of their 18 cats(!!!!!!!), is the smallest and sweetest of them all
Some of their other former stray cats:

I just love their huge ferret Sasquats!!!
But oldie Dommel is adorable! Unfortunately I don't have a pic of their other one, Pike

After this visit we went over to Call of the Wild's Marjolein and her 7 very sweet dogs.
But look in what a gorgeous pittoresque charming house they live!!!!! Wow!!!!!
With beautiful enormous pines in the huge garden, yep, this completely is my dreamhouse!!!
Lavinya stayed in the garden with the youngest Laika, Kasmir, while we went inside for a little while
Here was no pray at hand, so she was able to roam free

One of the females, Tobolin, a very cute one, is waiting for her turn
