Leilaney Set Free

On this day Leilaney passed away.

She lived a very difficult life and is now finally free. This notion strengthens me.

Lavinya and I nurtured her and did our best to make her life as pleasant as we could.
This proved to be a very difficult task.

Leilaney was genuinely wild and had extreme difficulties in coping with life in urban society.
Due to this her life consisted of severe stress.
She was shy, timid, withdrawn, distrustful, anxious and fearful to the extreme.
Yet we love her deeply and mourn for her loss.

Just two months ago, the day before her 5th birthday, she started to show signs of what later turned out to be SLO, a very nasty autoimmune disease.
True to her nature she had it in a severe degree and in her case she couldn't be treated so I had to let her go.

Laney; my one and only true wild child, I love you.

Rest my love, you are finally free

Liebe Elke,

tränen laufen über mein Gesicht! Ich kann es nicht glauben. Es tut mir so leid! Aber bedenke eins:
Was bleibt sind Liebe und Erinnerung!!!

In Gedenken an Felis liebe Schwester!
